Stromboli by Night
In the afternoon a boat will take you from Tropea harbour directly to Stromboli. After about one and half hours you will arrive in Stromboli where you will visit the Sciara del Fuoco (fire slide), which is characterized by a steep slope with lava flowing into the sea.
Tropea
Tropea is the pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea and in fact one of the most popular tourist destinations. This little town impresses, not only, with its beautiful Panorama but also with its history. From a terrace on the sheer cliff top it’s possible to admire the Church of Saint Mary.
Crotone
Crotone is situated in Eastern Calabria and lies above the Ionian Sea. Crotone was founded at the end of the VIII century B.C. by Greek colonists from Achaia. The old city is a labyrinth of narrow streets and small squares, leading to the cathedral and Pitagora square. This square connects the historical city with the modern one.

Gastronomy
A journey in Calabria is also to discover the pleasures and the flavors of its gastronomy, they change according to the mountain and sea locations. In the mountain loca- tions there is a big choice of mushrooms (rositi, nail fungus and mushroom) dishes and also a big varieties of Cheeses like the “caciocavallo” in the Sila mountains or the cottage cheese of the Aspromonte, it is a mix of milk and honey.
The Giants
A new form of folk festival is the festival (“sagra”), the typical products of a place are cooked in different ways and they are offered to the tourists for few euros. It is also a good way to know the Calabrian cookery.
Zungri and tasting of typical products
This excursion will introduce us to the Calabrian countryside. Departure for Zungri, a town located about 571 meters at sea level, on the north side of Monte Poro. Zungri is one of the most interesting agricultural centers of this area.
